The day I let my girls write a post……

I want to start with a disclaimer – this one is being written by my daughters. I take no responsibility for what is about to be documented.

Hi, we’re Shaveh’s daughters. We’re not typing – our mom is because it’s faster that way. Ok, um – lol – we would first like to say – lol – I can’t stop laughing. (“oh my word!” says Iraina) (“I have a stomach cramp” says Aislyn) ( “What!” says Iraina “MOMMY!!!”)  Continue reading “The day I let my girls write a post……”

Our 10yr old Speaking up to an Adult

I know it’s Thursday, but I’ve been really wanting to share this part of our week with you ever since it happened. It’s one of those that has Tim and I sitting back and really glowing with pride over our daughter. Yup, it’s one of those brag moments again. Similar to the one Iraina had last year.

This time it involved Aislyn, our 10 year old daughter. Continue reading “Our 10yr old Speaking up to an Adult”

Just another day in our lives

You know that thing that people call a “creative block”? I think I have had one of those lately – but in a strange way. Why I think it’s strange is because I have so much going on in my head and there’s too many projects to be made and blog posts to be written that I’ve actually over thought my way out of actually writing anything down or making anything. Feder Catch Up – it’s been a while

Hello again!! I know it’s been like, for-ages since I’ve been on this lovely little window into our lives. All I can say is that since I was wrote about how I was feeling, it’s been a ridiculous journey leading up to me actually sitting here and writing something down. I was finally able to identify why I was feeling the way I was feeling, Continue reading “Feder Catch Up – it’s been a while”

Feder Valentines Day tradition

It’s nearing to the end of February and the “month of love” is starting to slowly turn into bunnies and chocolate focus. I’m all for a holiday or a day that turns me towards chocolate. Yes, Hi – my name is Shaveh and I’m a chocoholic. I’m slowly starting to train myself to enjoy more refined tastes of it because, this sister isn’t getting any younger. Plus my gutt just hates me when I put sugary things into it now because baby number 3 ruined that for me. But I will continue to force it in there because, come on! It just tastes SO GOOD!!! Feder Family Feedback

You know it’s been a long time when you don’t quite know how to start up again. It’s like picking something up again that’s been just lying there, screaming at you – “It’s time to do this again!! You’ll really enjoy it!”

Well that’s part of the reason I’ve been away from our blog for so long. It’s been the most incredible rediscovery of not only myself, but just of what I want to do with this space. Continue reading “Feder Family Feedback”

My “Silly Season” is over!

December is kind of here and I can already feel the buzz in the air as schools start to close, parents start to schedule their last few play dates and shops just become just a little bit more unbearable than usual. Yip, and our city becomes this little honey pot that all of the other South African bees rush to. The roads become silly and everything in general becomes silly. Bank accounts get siphoned for all things Christmas and school stuff for next year. Continue reading “My “Silly Season” is over!”
