“How did we end up here?”

Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “how did we end up here?”

Now, this question can be asked in both a positive light and a negative light – so I bet you’ve asked this at least once in either way, right?

What is it about life that makes us get to these points? All of us have some element of control when it comes to our current circumstances. I say an element, because the circumstance can’t always change, but it’s how we respond or choose to look at it – is what we have the control over. Continue reading ““How did we end up here?””

Toddler sleep problems……

Today my husband found me getting video’s edited and ready to post onto youtube and wanted to know what I was up to. So I told him that I was blogging – his immediate reaction made me giggle and I’ll tell you why shortly. You see, we have had so many different things going on in our lives that there is a lot to talk about and so I assumed he would know that I’m just documenting what’s happened recently in our lives in general. So he’s never really given any input to what I write about or made any suggestions, but today he said this…….. Continue reading “Toddler sleep problems……”

Happy Birthday Tim Feder

Today is my husband’s birthday! He is now a well rounded 40! That’s just the weirdest thing to say. When we look at each other we always can’t believe we’re as old as we are. We used to look at these numbers and think that those were the beginning stages of getting old…….. well I get it now. 40 isn’t old and it sure isn’t the start of it. I think the term “old” has to be used so lightly now because it’s always so relative. Anyway, before I go down the insane rabbit hole of giving my opinion on age – let me gush over this man I call best friend and lover. Continue reading “Happy Birthday Tim Feder”

Growing up – Husband, Wife, Us…… Me?

I looked over my blog calendar the other day, and I was gob smacked at how little I have actually been writing. It’s nuts how this kind of thing actually needs to be planned for and allocated time to.

There are so many spheres of my life that I really need to get back into sharing with you guys. I know that I have been talking a lot about the kids and how we go about our everyday lives. But I think that I need to start sharing a little more about Tim and I and what we are going through. Continue reading “Growing up – Husband, Wife, Us…… Me?”

My husband’s Patience added Value to another part of “me”

A few weeks ago I wrote about the different Mom “me’s”. It’s honestly the craziest journey to hold all of the “me’s” together and somehow put up some form of ‘normal’ in each scenario. All of this ‘holding together’ while trying to actually discover what each part means and whether they should actually be up front in this current “scene” in my life’s play.  Continue reading “My husband’s Patience added Value to another part of “me””

Behind the Scenes – what you don’t always read about before an event

Sherbit! It’s been a long time since I’ve actually been able to sit down and write anything. You will not believe how intense the last few days/week has been. I feel like I could literally exhale all of my troubles, memories and victories right here for you to read. There’s probably going to be like three posts coming out of me today. Continue reading “Behind the Scenes – what you don’t always read about before an event”

Friday Feder Files – how’s the family doing?

Friday morning has made me all reflective and I think it would be appropriate to have a little update on where my little tribe are at. Let’s start with Tim. As you might have read, about two weeks ago, he went in for a hernia surgery repair thing. To date, it’s been interesting. Continue reading “Friday Feder Files – how’s the family doing?”
