Waffle Family Tradition

As I’ve mentioned before, my girls have done really well in their gymnastics competitions this year. So this year I decided that it was time to start a celebration tradition. 

I remember as a kid, that after every sports day or arts evening-we went for an ice cream treat. Winter or summer, that’s what I remember. So after realizing that my girls are “into” their gymnastics and excelling at it, it was time to start a memory. 

So after every competition now, we have an evening of waffles. They get to put whatever they’d like on them. (That’s available) so here’s a few images of one of the evenings we’ve done together. We’ve had three this year and it’s now ingrained and that’s what we do. I must admit that it’s a lot cheaper than I expected, just a bit labour intensive on my part – but I love my kids so it’s well worth it.
